Use a stud finder to locate the studs on your garage wall and then mark with a pencil or pen where you want the top frame board to go. Pre-drill 3 holes along with the 1” x 2” wood pieces horizontally, starting with the top board. After drilling the first hole and securing the first screw, stop and measure to ensure the board is level. Continue with the next 2 screws to secure the board in place. Begin with the right side first and then middle). Measure and mark out space for the bottom board. Make sure it’s level and lined up correctly with the top board. Pre-drill through the board and secure in place with the wood screws. Attach the middle board to the wall between the top and bottom boards, again making sure it’s lineup up properly and level. Mount the pegboard to the frame boards. Pre-drill into the wood frames and secure to the pegboard using the wood screws. Hang the pegboard accessories, adjusting them as needed to fit your power tools. Hang your power tools safely and clean up the area.
