Tried 6 kinds of screws Julie C. I tried 6 kinds of screws. Someone mentioned flat head wood screws, I tried that too. There has been no way to get these to mount flush against the wall. I even hired a professional handyman for another project and showed him all I tried. He was baffled. The other Lack shelves are amazing. The image on here now wasn't there when I bought 12 of these at various times. There must be someway for these to be amazing like the longer ones. I’m honestly baffled by who thought this was properly designed or packaged. First off, they don’t come with screws nor do they Specify which kinds of screws even fit the slot on the back. This means you have to essentially go on a wild goose chase to figure out which screws to use in the first place. Even the slots in the back make you have to do precise measurements of where you need to put your screws so they slide flush with the slots. If you have drywall I’d suggest you just find another option, they want you to anchor screws into the wall and that’s supposed to be the ONLY support for whatever you put on it. The issue is that any amount of weight makes it sag and completely rips out the drywall. ( almost ripped out of the wall when I put 2 ps5 controllers on it smh) I have 4 fat holes in my wall I have to plug in now because the piece simply wouldn’t sit firmly in place or hold anything that’s more than a couple pounds. 1

Return Policy is terrible Amy L. Additionally, do not buy these. Unless you have an Ikea nearby, it will cost you just as much to return them as to buy them. A HUGE waste of money and materials for an "eco-friendly" company. 1 New Supplier? SHAARON S. I have used all sizes in Lack shelves except these. I suggest you stay clear of these. Why? 1. I ordered these to be delivered. I didn’t notice how the same corner of each one was dented. There was no damage on the box. 2. They have keyhole hangers on the back. The larger lack shelves have a bar system to hang them and they work really well. Keyhole, not so much. 3. When putting it onto the wall, the screw in the wall actually pulled through the wood as I was putting the shelf on the wall. The shelf is now damaged beyond repair. 4. The quality just doesn’t feel the same. This isn’t semi gloss in finish, it is a flat paint finish. I’d say stay away from these. 1 Lack for the win! Michelle LOve these light weight shelves!
