If you can get readers, you can make money. This is my preferred way to make money while I sleep and I love waking up to a sale notification. With a high traffic site, you can make a lot of money from advertising revenue. Pay per click ads can really amount to a significant income on a popular site. Starting a blog is not a quick way to make money but with work in the beginning you might be able to join the ranks of the bloggers who make a nice six figure income with their websites. I started making what I would classify as a full-time income about 1 year into blogging so it is not a get-rich quick scheme by any means.
