As such, there may be color variations, nail and peg holes, checks, wain, knotches and mortise holes in beams, size and density variation, and other characteristics of vintage lumbers. All of our wood is air dried for many years which in our area the ambient moisture content of wood is generally 12-13% moisture content. This can vary due to weather and humidity. We can kiln dry lumber upon request. If you don’t find what you are looking for, please call - 315-286-4847. You can email us a list of what you need. If so, please include quantity, species if you have a preference, and dimensions. If you need beams, please specify whether you want hand hewn or sawn.
