The Assembly of a shed from Asgard is a straight forward as all units can be installed with only basic tools, such as a hammer, a screwdriver, a power drill, a spirit level, an adjustable spanner. All the necessary fixtures and fittings required are provided with the unit as well as easy to follow illustrated instructions. Q: Can I choose a left /right handed door for my shed unit?

A: Yes. Although our units come with a right handed door as standard, please specify if you would like a left-handed door instead when placing your order.

A: Yes, some of our metal sheds have an optional electric power point which can be fitted to the unit to provide an electricity supply to a garden shed. Please note that we recommend that you consult an approved electrician to fit this.

Q. Do metal sheds suffer from condensation?

A. A metal shed may be susceptible to excess dampness and condensation without adequate planning and preparation. However, the Asgrd metal garden sheds have an integral ventilation system in the roof minimizes the build up of condensation inside the unit, keeping your equipment dry and safe. If the shed bases are not constructed properly, a damp base will almost certainly cause condensation to form so always ensure that the concrete or slab base is of the correct size i.e. slightly larger than the shed base. We also advise that the edges of the base should be towelled smooth and slightly angled down towards the edge so that water seepage does not occur. Another important point is to make sure there are no plants or bushes close to the unit which may cause moisture to enter the metal shed.
