TUFF SHED, Inc., America’s leading supplier of installed storage buildings and garages, has recently launched a new building model. The PRO Studio provides all the functionality of a classic TUFF SHED storage building, but is designed to cater towards customers who want a more modern look. This post-modern style TUFF SHED building includes one model in three standard sizes (8’x10′, 10’x12′ and 12’x16′). With more new single family homes reflecting this modern architectural style, TUFF SHED sought to fulfill those customer’s storage needs. And although it’s not limited to these uses, this type of design appears to be popular as extra living space, whether it’s a home office, studio or even guest quarters. Presenting a more contemporary style, this new TUFF SHED building features a single slope, shallow pitched roof and beefy overhangs. On the tall front wall, high-end transom windows and a glass residential style door are included. “This is a great looking building,” says TUFF SHED Marketing Director Phil Worth. “And we were able to achieve the appearance utilizing our existing construction methods and materials.” Using the same building practices and materials as their other buildings, TUFF SHED designed the PRO Studio as part of their PRO Series, which features a 10-Year Limited Warranty. And as with all TUFF SHED buildings, on-site installation is included in the price of this building. Base price for the PRO Studio ranges from $4,000 to $8,000 depending on size and market. Founded in 1981, TUFF SHED is based in Denver, Colorado, and has 43 company-owned manufacturing facilities and roughly 800 employees providing local service to customers around the country. The company has a longstanding tradition of providing premium products and outstanding customer service. What is the size of a 200 square foot room?

A 200 square foot space is about the size of a one-car garage. In other words, the average car could fit into 200 square foot place with a small amount of wiggle room.

To visualize square feet, keep in mind that a small bedroom is about 100 square feet. A one-car garage is about 200 square feet, and a double garage is about 400 square feet. You can also estimate the square footage of a space by measuring your stride. First, lay a tape measure down and measure the length of your stride by stretching your legs about a step apart. When you know your stride, use it to calculate the rough length and width of a room. For example, if your stride is about a foot and you can make 15 strides along one wall and 12 along the other, the rough length and width of your room is 15 by 12. Then, multiply them together to get 180 square feet. For more tips, including how to use a piece of paper to help you visualize square feet, read on!
