Some customers question if it's even necessary. Even though it cannot be seen, underlayment is an incredibly important component to a roof that has a major impact on its longevity. How well roof underlayment performs will depend on which type you use. We generally prefer the use of synthetic underlay, as it is more durable and will last longer.
