"Restless Sea 311E is a beautiful neutral blue that is timeless and elegant," explains Ashley Banbury, Senior Color Designer at Pratt & Lambert Paints. "It complements landscaping while providing a modern coastal look and feel." For a darker shade of blue that doesn't compete with the exterior of a home, Woelfel recommends a classic navy. "A rich, dark navy works well with tans and beiges, a common exterior color," she says. "I love a blue accent for the shed; a few favorites of mine are Superior Blue S490-7 or Compass Blue MQ5-54."

Gray

A stylish shade of gray can make a big impact on the exterior of a shed. "If you're keen to get on the black exterior trend but don't want to paint your whole house, paint a shed a dark, moody charcoal, like Cyberspace SW 7076, is a good option," Wadden says.
