Energy Company Obligation: Local Authority Flexible Eligibility

The Flexible Eligibility initiative enables households to access the ECO scheme when they do not receive means tested benefits but are still experiencing fuel poverty due to a low income or are vulnerable to the effects of living in a cold home. Under the scheme, the council can declare additional households as eligible for receiving ECO funding to install energy efficiency measures. This must also be in accordance with the council's own qualifying criteria, which is set out in the Statement of Intent. LB Lewisham is responsible for managing the scheme on our behalf (South London Healthy Homes). To apply for the scheme, or to refer someone, either call or click on the link to the online referral form.
