There might be a maximum number of consecutive days that you can reside in your holiday home. This length is most often governed by the local authority in which the holiday park resides. If your caravan is on your driveway or in your garden then it must be a temporary extension of your home. If you're using it to live in or even just temporarily sleep in and you're counting it as a separate dwelling, then you'd need planning permission.
