It should be no surprise that there are already housing market predictions for 2024 as we head into 2023, with mortgage rates and the median home price fluctuating rapidly. Real estate investors and many national associations of realtors have turned to market experts for their predictions for the housing market if we will have a housing bubble and what could come of rising interest rates well into 2024. With the federal reserve raising interest rates, will we have a housing crash? According to the chief economist for the National Association of Realtors, Lawrence Yun believes that we are likely to see an overall price growth across the country of somewhere between 15% -25% in the next five years. Over the coming year, we will have more information on what exactly this will look like and a general direction of what the long-term outlook for home buyers could be going into 2024 in regard to home prices and overall home values.
